The great majority of folks will look at a couple of  standard chandelier designs – pick one pick one and be satisfied.  That is a shopping experience.  I would like to give  you a creativity & design experience.  This takes a bit more effort and turns out custom art pieces to suit your style and personality.

Table tops can be constructed from stained birchwood veneer on plywood or sheet steel. Table legs can be straight, curved, twisted or textured.
Smaller table is approx 16″ tall, 16″ deep and 16″ wide. Larger table measures about 21″ tall, 17″ deep and 21″ wide. Your variations on this basic style are welcome. Wood burning pens available for “drawing on wood”.

add finishing oil or poly topcoat. While in the metal shop, prepare and cut metal for a stand, weld, grind new welds and rough edges, and paint if desired. Finally, assemble the tabletop to the stand for a totally unique piece of furniture, .This six-week class combines woodworking and welding to design and make an end table or plant stand.

Participants start by designing their pieces. Then they move on to learning how to cut, weld, and finish their steel table base in the Metal Studio.  The wood will be cut, jointed, sanded, stained, and mounted to the steel bases for a finished project. Class size for the course is kept small (6 person max).
